Chaplain Troy Shoaf
A lot of you may already know Chaplain Troy Shoaf of Blue Line Ministries. For those that don't, we would like to introduce you and let you know a little about him and his organization.
In addition to being a pastor and the Lodge #94 Chaplain, Troy is also a sworn law enforcement officer serving with the Will County Sheriff's Auxiliary. His duties don't stop there however. He is also a police chaplain for the United States Secret Service, Illinois State Police, Will County Sheriff's Office, and Bolingbrook Police Department. He is a trained counselor and has achieved senior chaplain credentialing through the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC).
His organization, Blue Line Ministries, supports and encourages law enforcement through meetings, counseling, retreats and chaplaincy. He confidentially counsels officers and helps during personal crisis. He has observed that many of the personal struggles officers face could have been prevented with the proper encouragement and education.
We're grateful to have Troy as not only a member of Lodge #94 but also serving as our Lodge Chaplain. More information about Chaplain Troy Shoaf and Blue Line Ministries can be found at bluelineministries.org
