Officers Supporting Officers
Recently, the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge held a training for the state’s Critical Incident Support Team. We are honored to have had two of our Lodge #94 members, Deputy Denise Bode (Ret.) and Auxiliary Deputy Michele Sweeney Boudreau, volunteer their time to participate in this training and become certified Peer Wellness Specialists. The Critical Incident Support Team is a service of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police and is available to all law enforcement officers and their families in their time of need. This service is completely confidential and Peer Wellness Specialists are available 24 hours a day to respond anywhere in the state.
We want to take this moment to recognize and thank Denise and Michele for volunteering their time to help their fellow officers around the State of Illinois. Without dedicated individuals like them, this valuable resource would not be possible.
